Short Personal Description: 

Prior to me being a teacher, I worked as an advocate in the battered women's movement for 10 years.  It was when I was a teen advocate at Crossroads Safehouse, that I got the idea to do a career change as I did a lot with PSD on what healthy and unhealthy relationships look like in various classrooms.  I earned my master’s in Education at Colorado State University in 2005 through a program called Project Promise and I have been a social studies teacher at Rocky Mountain High School here in Fort Collins, Colorado since.
